Seaworks Maritime Precinct (Williamstown)

Seaworks is developing into a working Maritime Precinct. The site covers some 2.7 hectares and includes historic buildings recognised by Heritage Victoria and the National Trust, piers, jetties, slipways and large open spaces. The precinct is open to the public for educational, tourism and recreational activities that, celebrates and preserves our maritime history.

The Williamstown Maritime Association operates The Pirates Tavern. The tavern has a true maritime feel about it and is one of the hidden gems of Melbourne.

The Pirates Tavern is a licensed venue and is open every Friday night from 6pm and every Saturday from 3pm till 6pm and every Sunday from 1pm until 6pm with the third Sunday of the month being our music Sunday featuring a live band. Live music is played in the Pirates Tavern every Friday night, during festivals or special events, tavern openings are often extended.
