Schafter Reserve is a fairly large undulating park with access from Ridley Court and Schafter Drive. There is a playground, basketball court and table set in a bowl and sloping grassy areas lead out in all directions.
In the south west of the reserve there is a sloping square grassy area fringed around the border with trees. Next to the playground is a water tap with bowl but there are no bins.
