Schafter Drive Playground, Doncaster East
The playground is set in a grassy bowl and includes a modern climbing frame with high arched monkey bars, fireman's pole, ladder with swaying footholds, metal ladder and metal slide. There are also swings, stepping logs leading to a large wooden snail and a fun see-saw which goes up and down as well as revolving around.
A big log lies across a dry creek bed and is fun to cross (provided you have good balance and strong nerves).
Nearby is a a basketball and netball half court which is also line marked with four-square and hop scotch, unshaded table and with water tap with bowl. There is some basic outdoor gym equipment.
