Sandringham Anglers Club
Sandringham Anglers is a family orientated club and welcomes new members of all ages, experience or place of residence. The club covers freshwater, saltwater, estuary and surf fishing. The club caters for boat; kayak and shore based anglers and has a 4.2m aluminium boat for members use.
The Club has arguably the best location and facilities of any comparable angling club. We are ideally situated on the Melbourne bayside foreshore of Sandringham harbour with panoramic views of the bay.
Members enjoy free parking right on the foreshore.
Kayak Facilities - There are secure facilities to store kayaks at the clubhouse for a small annual fee. Kayaks can be launched in the calm waters right in front of the clubhouse. As the popularity of kayak fishing has grown within the club, there is now a club kayak championship for the most points earned throughout the year for members fishing out of a kayak.
Club Boat - The club has a fully equipped 14ft aluminium boat available for suitably experienced embers for a very small donation. The boat comes complete with a G.P.S. with lots of members marks ready to try.
We meet Tuesday nights at 8:00pm and regularly have speakers on various subjects. Guests are welcome. Competitions are held on Saturdays, Sundays, or weekends.
