Located in the recently redeveloped Port of Sale precinct, the dedicated team at the Central Gippsland Visitor Centre are always on hand to help you find yourself in The Middle of Everywhere.
With a great range of brochures from near and far, you'll find something to pique your interests, no matter what they are. The team has great local knowledge, and can help you plan your current trip, or your next when you come back through.

Central Gippsland is a very diverse area with much to see. It stretches from the snowfields to the ocean including the longest unbroken stretch of beach in the world known as the Ninety Mile Beach. It also has beautiful National Parks, High Country and Wetlands within an hours drive of Sale.
The Visitor Information Centre offers many activities for visitors to the regions, some of which are water activities on Lake Wellington such as water skiing, sailing, canoeing and swimming. While in the region you can also go cycling, horse riding, bush walking or hiking along the picturesque landscape.
The Region also has many art galleries, museums and antique shops. They have a variety of fishing activities from surf fishing, fly fishing, trout fishing, ocean fishing or charter fishing.
With plenty of National Parks, Camping sites and picnic areas. Relax in the local restaurants, wineries and gardens or play a game of golf or lawn bowls.
