Roses Gap - Beehive Falls (Grampians National Park)
Best after rain, this picturesque waterfall drops 25 metres into sheltered rock pools surrounded by ferns. Visit in spring when it is often surrounded by pink and white Grampians Thryptomene flowers.
A gently undulating walking track follows Mud Hut Creek upstream, to a series of rock steps and on to Beehives Falls. The return walk takes about 1.5 hours. There are rock pools and ferns at the base of the falls.
How to get there: From the Western Highway, turn left on to Jackmans Road. There are signs for Roses Gap road here. After 3 km turn left on to Roses Gap Road. Proceed along this for approximately 9 Km and on the left will be a car park for Beehive Falls.
Alternatively, the falls are a 30 minute drive from Halls Gap on the Mount Zero Road.
