Rokewood Swimming Lagoon

Rokewood Lagoon is a unique community-run and family-friendly swimming location in Rokewood, approximately one hour north west of Geelong.

Facilities include car parking, beach and grassy areas, changing rooms with toilets and showers, BBQs, town supply drinking water, a pier, a shelter and plenty of trees. The lagoon is not chlorinated, and is emptied, cleaned and refilled depending on available water. Note that glass is not permitted.

There is a shallow beach area for younger children as well as deeper areas for swimming and inflatables.

Opening Hours:

The lagoon season begins approximately the 3rd week of December each year, and concludes the following March. Open 24/7 including public holidays, except when closed for maintenance.

Cost:

A small entrance fee helps with upkeep and maintenance. You can either pay online or visit the Rokewood Takeaway, Rokewood Hotel, or pay one of the friendly volunteers.

Access for Dogs:

Dogs are not permitted.
