The huge reserve has two baseball fields (one is fenced with no public access) at the southern end and the Dandenong Athletics Complex at the northern end. On the eastern side there is a strip of bushland along the Dandenong Creek where there is a bin. There are also grassy areas on the west side but this area can be boggy after rain. We couldn't find a water tap in the reserve.
In the north west corner of the reserve there is a fenced dog park.
