Riverwalk Water Play Park (Werribee)
A fun, free water play park which has an array of sprays. The water has a 30 minute cycle which has 300 different steps in the sequence and the kids shouldn't get bored chasing the sprays. Features include the Lollipop Splash Zone, Water Wall, Water Snake Tail Spray, Crown Jet, Porcupine Fountain, Column Jet, Calyx Jet, Spyral Water Tunnel, Fyrefly Jet, Dancing Water Wheel, Water Cave, Mist Jet and Stingray Parasol.
There are two areas where a hand pump can be used to pump water into a series of metal dishes, channels and pipes (one with an augur).
There is a start button which you need to press to start the water sprays. The water will remain on for 30 minutes.
Feedback from visitors is that the experience isn't as enjoyable when it is very windy.
The area around the play area is beautifully landscaped with natural elements and garden beds. There are two huge shelters with tables and BBQs, unshaded tables and seats, water taps, toilets and grassy areas. In the same area is a plaza with shelters with seats and some water sprays, a nice playground, basketball court and basic skate park.
The water park is located in a new development area in Werribee and Newmarket Street may not appear on all maps. Newmarket Street is a turnoff from the Princes Highway on the left as you head west from Werribee (just after New Farm Road).

8am - 8pm 1 October - 30 April. Closed 1 May - 30 September
