Mansfield - Rifle Butts Reserve Mountain Bike Park
The Rifle Butts Mountain Bike Park is located at Loyola G50 Bushland Reserve, only a few kolometres from Mansfield. Even though the reserve, which measures 550m x 420m, is small there are about 8 kilometres of trails. The trails are built and maintained by the the Mansfield Mt Buller Cycling Club.
There are about eight different trails in the park which link together. There are 2 green trails, 4 blue trails and 2 black trails. The park has mountain biking trails for all levels; short leisurely loops are perfect for beginners and the kids, or try the more challenging climb and descent. The higher on the hill you go, the more technical it gets. At the base of the hill you'll find mostly flat loops with a few jumps and switchback corners. On the top there's boulders to negotiate and quit a few rocky drops.
