Richards Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Montrose)

There is a bin near the western entrance. A gravel path leads uphill through a grassy area dotted with a few trees. Part way up the hill is an unshaded table next to a clump of trees where some beautiful orchids were flowering when we visited at the end of March. Only the southern part of the reserve is off leash and when you reach Kerr Crescent in the wooded area, it is time to turn back.
