Reg Marlow Reserve Playground, Oak Avenue, Mentone

Fully fenced with security gates which is quite a good idea since Warrigal Road is on one side. At the centre is a seating area with a huge umbrella providing shade and a central location to keep an eye on the kids.

The main wooden structure has two slides, climbing wall, speak and listen system, shop front, steps, spiral pipe with bead to get from one end to the other, fireman's pole, animal panels, curved ladder, vertical rope climbing wall, scrambling wall, disks on a vertical pole and walkways. There is a traversing trail with flying fox, monkey bars and chain traverse. On the side are some wooden huts; one a Blacksmiths and the other a Corner Store. Four swings including one with harness, birds nest swing, lovely toadstool and gum nut character wooden carvings, stand-on spinner and spinning cup with hand-wheel.

There is a shelter with two tables and BBQs, water taps and fairly decent grassy area within the fenced area. An outdoor gym is nearby.
