R.D. Egan Lee Reserve Playground, Wallace Road, Knoxfield
This is a significant conservation area and also quite a significant playground area. Set in a clearing surrounded by bushland and tweeting birds is a lovely playground focused on wood.
For older kids there is a wooden structure with curved slide which can be reached by either a tall rope net ladder or a climbing wall. If you aren't up for this challenge the structure also has a slide which can be reached by steps. In this area is a wooden log traverse and balance beam with disk steps and a rope traverse.
There is another lovely wooden cubby for younger kids with a scrambling wall and slide. There are two swings.
Two unshaded tables and no area for games near the playground. There is an outdoor gym next to the playground.
