Raffles Walk Park Playground, Grandvista Boulevard, Werribee
A tall tower stands high across the playground with a tightly twisting tunnel slide from the top level and a curved slide from the lower level. The slides are reached by rope tunnel ladder. A metal tunnel which is hard on the knees leads over to an elevated area with walkways, rope traverse, climbing walls with cute frog holds and various ladders.
If you are ground-phobic and don't like touching the ground you can continue on a row of soft humps to a series of horizontal rope ladders and disk traverse which leads to huge rock with climbing holds. There is a second large rock with climbing holds and a third huge bouldering rock without holds.
There is a climbing structure with various ladders, hanging disk traverse, rope net and fireman's pole with a log stepper line leading to and from it. There is a big soft colourful mound with some ropes to help kids scramble up the sides. Another soft mound has a short wide slide.
Near the swings is a cute table and seats which revolves around. In the middle is a large shelter with two tables, unshaded table and seats and water tap. There are no BBQs. There is a good sized grassy area and the area is dotted with lots of interesting large rocks to climb.
There is an excellent playground, Safari Park, up the road.
