Quarries Park Dog Off Leash Area (Clifton Hill)
There is a convenient car park between Ramsden Street reserve and Quarries Park. A winding path leads from the car park to grassy areas where there is a big playground and skatepark.
At the playground are shelters with tables, BBQs, bins and water tap with bowl. There is also a bin near the skatepark. To the north of the playground is some bushland and more grassy areas. Dogs are prohibited within playgrounds at any time and must be kept on-leash within 10 metres of playground areas.
To the west of the playground are big grassy areas dotted with trees and a soccer field with goal frames. There is a pavilion for FC Clifton Hill and Yarra Jets FC south east of the oval which has toilets, bins, car park and water tap with out a bowl. Dogs are allowed off-leash in unfenced sporting grounds only when the grounds are not in use for approved sporting events (including training) and dogs must be kept on-leash within 10 metres of sporting grounds when they are in use for approved sporting events (including training).
The Merri Creek Trail runs along the eastern side of the area. This area joins to other dog off leash areas such as Ramsden Street Reserve to the south and Hall Reserve to the north.
