Quambee Reserve Playground, Wonga Road, Ringwood North
The playground, which is suited to older kids, has three great play elements and nothing else. There is a very impressive structure with ladders up to a big orange tunnel slide. The consensus on the slide was that it was a bit scary at the top but not fast enough lower down. There is also a long flying fox (zip line) with disk seat and a fantastic birds nest swing which can swing and revolve around at the same time.
The playground is fenced with gates (without a safety lock). Shaded and unshaded seats and next to an oval.
The reserve has three ovals, a tennis club, pony club (including a horse jumping area), toilets (located in the football/cricket pavilion and open from 7am to 7pm) and walking trail around the reserve.
The reserve is home to North Ringwood Football Club, Parkwood Tennis Club, Ringwood Horse & Pony Club and Warranwood Cricket Club.
