Dogs are prohibited from the Athletics Track. Below the pavilion which is next to the car park is a grassy depression which is home to the Ringwood Saints Baseball Club and the Ringwood Cricket Club.
There is a steep bank dotted with trees around the outside. The flat area was quite muddy after rain which is a consequence of being in a bowl. There are some bins at the pavilion but no water taps. In the north east corner close to Sylvia Grove is a smallish separate grassy area with trees which has a basic playground.
