Porepunkah - River Reserve River Pool (Ovens River)

The Ovens River is dammed at Bright and Porepunkah from around Christmas to Easter to create long cool river swimming pools. A lifeguard is on duty in the afternoon most days during summer at the pool in River Reserve, Porepunkah. A children's paddling pool on the river banks nearby give the whole family a chance to enjoy the water.
Other natural river holes in the area are a favourite with locals and the more adventurous visitors but care need to taken at all times along the rivers.
Review:
There is a small shaded toddlers pool on the bank, playground and facilities such as toilets and tables.
