Pomonal - Mount William Summit Walk (Grampians National Park)
At 1,167 metres, Mount William is the highest point in the Grampians National Park.
From the Mount William carpark along Mount William Road, follow the steep sealed road (no access for cars) for 1.9km one-way to climb to the highest point in the Grampians, Mount William (Duwul), where stunted eucalyptus give way to unbelievable 360-degree views of jagged mountain ranges, farmland, lakes and open plains.
Make the hike just before sunset and see this unique and ancient landscape saturated in beautiful colours.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are not allowed.
