Point Park Crescent Playground, Docklands
An interesting playground with plenty of opportunities to make music with lots of musical flowers and a huge music making wall - think the equivalent of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and you will be getting close.
Another highlight is a long sandpit with a water pump which allows water to be pumped out and flow along rocky channels into the sandpit which also has a digger (perfect for hauling wet sand).
There are some unshaded tables and seats, BBQs and water tap as well as toilets. Across a bike track is the Yarra River and so you need to be vigilant.
At the other end of the playground are dual wave slides on the side of a slope, stand on carousel and swings. Some limited grassy area. On weekends there is some free parking available.
