A path from the middle car park at the end of the road area leads to a playground with a low structure with a boat bow, slide, block steps with steering wheel, shop front, binoculars, panel with coloured shapes, little climbing mat, little walkway, curved rigid walkway, inclined walkway, slide, speak an listen system, steps and block steps. Also climbing frame with plastic circles, stand-on spinner, two whale springers and a small sandpit. Everything is on a soft artificial surface. Water tap and toilets. Surrounded by many shelters with tables and BBQs. Big grassy area.
About 100m away is another set of structures. Steps lead up to big wooden platforms with a wave slide. There is a smaller wooden structure with wave slide, two slides, shop front and ladders. Pelican springer. This area also has a shelter with tables and BBQ, a shelter and tables plus more tables and BBQs under trees. Water tap and unshaded seat.
Update: A new playground is being built near the existing playground. It is a fairly standard structure in nautical green with two wave slides, monkey bars, rope bridge, abacus, tic-tac-toe, rope ladder and elevated bridge. Also a birds nest swing and two standard swings. The older playground areas nearby might eventually get demolished.
