Plenty Valley Arts (South Morang)

Plenty Valley Arts (South Morang)

The objective of Plenty Valley Arts is to bring together local artists to paint and to enjoy fellowship and fun.

Plenty Valley Arts was formed in 1995 by a group of local painters and friends interested in painting and promoting the 'beauty, of the area'. Plenty Valley Arts' members are most fortunate to be able to paint in a beautiful selling, Le Page Homestead property. The garden, orchard and car park of the property is voluntarily maintained by the Mill Park Garden Club.

The Le Page Homestead was built in the early 1850's. Parks Victoria purchased Le Page Homestead property in 1986 and Plenty Valley Arts lease the building from Parks Victoria.

Plenty Valley Arts works closely with the City of Whittlesea Heritage Committee and Historical Society and hold two Community Events at Le Page Property: 'Kids Art in the Park' in April and 'Hawkestowe Music' in November. We have two Art Shows to coincide with the above two events.

Le Page Homestead is open on some days when classes and painting groups are held.

Display of paintings and Pottery items of our members are displayed at the Gallery, Le Page Homestead throughout the year. All our members are encouraged to exhibit their Artwork in the Gallery and an opportunity to sell their paintings.

New Members are most welcome to Join Plenty Valley Arts to obtain new skills, have fun painting and making pottery in a beautiful setting and at the same time make lasting friendships.
