Pioneer Park Playground, North Road, Nullawil
Set on a corner with a small grassy area, shaded table, unshaded table, toilets, bird springer and a structure with steep wave slide, chain ladder, abacus, straight ladder, walkway, climber with half circles and monkey bars.
There is an information sign about the history of Nullawil. Here are the details just in case you never get to Nullawil. The meaning of Nullawil is derived from "Nulla" which means killing stick and "Wil" derived from "Willock" which means Galahs. It makes sense because we saw quite a few galahs although we didn't manage to see any killing sticks. Nullawil was proclaimed a township on 17th June, 1898. Produce from the area has traditionally been wheat, barley, oats, wool and fat lambs. In recent years canola, chick peas, field peas and lentils have also been grown.
