Peverill Park Dog Off Leash Area (Malvern East)

The park was opened in July 1990 and was redeveloped using funding received as compensation for the loss of parkland to the south eastern arterial and forms part of the Malvern Valley Linear Park.
A good sized grassy area which has a fence running beside the road (with an opening for access), a multi-use trail running through the area and a steep hill on the southern side with a fence for protection from the freeway.
In the north west corner is a decent playground, tennis wall, basketball court, shelter, bin and water tap with bowl.
There are a fair number of trees dotted about the park and four seats are placed around the outside of the grassy area. There is another bin in the north east corner. There is quite a lot of noise from the freeway.
