Peterson Reserve Playground, Peterson Street, Highett
The playground has been upgraded and some more play areas created. The centrepiece is still a wooden structure with wave slide, spiral slide, long ramp access, shop front, fireman's pole, chain bridge and broken flying fox. There is a circular concrete bike riding track around the structure.
In a corner is another small wooden tower with ramp, steps and slide plus a sandpit with sand play equipment which is so high tech that you might need to get a mechanical engineering degree before you come here. This corner also has a birds nest swing, spinning cup to sit in, horse springer and lion springer.
On the other side is a big rope net climbing frame, super nova and swings. There is a shaded table, unshaded seats, BBQ, water tap and toilets. Next to an oval and a big grassy area.
