Peninsula Reserve Playground, Frank Street, Frankston
The playground is quite cute and fun but rather basic. There is a structure with wave slide, pipe ladder, suspended chain ladder, crumbling wall and fireman's pole a highlight is Nessie which has a ladder body which writhes in and out of the ground. There is also a sandpit surrounded by flat rocks. The sand is actually more like coarse gravel - kids must be tough in this area. In the area are some wooden sculptures, log stepping stones, swings including one with a harness and a standalone shop front.
There are unshaded seats, table, water tap and grassy area next to an oval.
Access for Dogs:
This large reserve is also home to a dog free roam area.
