Penders Park Playground, St David Street, Thornbury
Big park without fences but with a fenced in playground area. Outside the fenced area is a large pyramid rope climbing frame (or a web if you prefer our son's description), swings without safety chain, flying fox, great hammock and skateboard springer. The fenced in area has a structure with slide, spiral ladder, steps, shop front and ABC panel. Also frog springer (don't waste your time kissing it - my wife did and she is left with me as her Prince Charming) and two swings (one with harness and the other with safety chain).
Seats without shade. There is a large shelter with tables and seats, BBQs and plenty of unshaded tables and seats. Toilets.
