Patchewollock Art Silos
The silos at Patchewollock were painted by street artist Fintan Magee. It features a massive portrait of wheat and sheep farmer Nick Hulland. According to the artist, Nick Hulland has the classic farmer look and embodies the spirit of the locals.
On the second silo there is a dying tree with some new growth which represent the life cycle of the bush.
The wheat silos which have been given a new lease of life had been decommissioned.
The silo is part of the Yarriambiack Shire Silo Art Trail which will comprise six locations; Brim, Patchewollock, Sheep Hills, Rupanyup, Lascelles and Roseberry. The silos at Lascelles and Roseberry are yet to be painted.
GrainCorp owns five of six silos which have been decommissioned.
