Pastel Society of Victoria (Mount Waverley)

The Pastel Society aims to educate the public about pastel and its use as a fine art medium and to promote the exchange of information and ideas concerning pastel among interested artists. Their monthly meetings consist of talks, discussions and demonstrations relating to pastel painting.

Several practical workshops are held each year for members and non-members to enhance their technique and knowledge of the pastel medium. Plus an annual exhibition is held annually for members.

A newsletter is available to all members advising of forthcoming meetings, events and items of interest.

Meetings are held at Mount Waverley Community Centre in Mount Waverley on the first Monday of each month from February to December (except November, due to Melbourne Cup public holiday).
