Greenmeadows Gardens Playground, Greenmeadows Lane, St Kilda East
Very avant-garde with many different climbing frames and other equipment which presents a question on how to use it. Also includes three slides, five swings (two tiny), see-saw, 1,2 and 4 person springers, large stand-on spinning disk, large colourful balls imbedded in the ground, wooden statues of little footballers, device showing cogs working and board to play musical notes.
Greenmeadows Gardens was originally the cow paddock of Greenmeadows House estate in 1912.
Plenty of shade in the playground from a variety of trees including three palm trees. Plenty of tables and seats with some shade, BBQ and toilets.
Access for Dogs:
The northern end of Greenmeadows Gardens (north of Melby Avenue) is off-leash between 6am and 9am.
The park is on-leash at all other times.
