Old Olinda Golf Course Dog Off Leash Area (Olinda)

A very large area, 450m x 700m, in lovely surroundings with great views which used to be the Olinda Golf Course until a few years ago. The original layout of the fairways is still noticeable but the greens have blended into the surroundings now. The course is very hilly which means that both owner and dog will get a good healthy workout together. You can follow the fairways or go into the rough, which is what I frequently did when I played golf here in the past.

If you have a poor sense of direction it is possible to get quite lost, although if you keep heading uphill you should manage to find the entrance (hopefully before night falls).

There is a big shelter without tables or seats next to the car park. To the north of the abandoned golf clubhouse is a water tap with bowl. There are no bins which means some irresponsible owners leave their used plastic bags near the entrance.
