Review:
A quality skating centre with a huge public skating rink complete with video screen and music to complement the action on the ice. The rink is a bit chilly but not so cold that you have to wear heavy coats and there were plenty of people in T-shirts. There is plenty of equipment for hire with a huge range of skates, helmets and even metal frames for people just beginning. If you don't want a frame then there is plenty of room to hang onto on the side walls. If people are practicing ice hockey on the other rink, have a look because it is quite exciting.
There is a reasonably basic cafe. Beside the public skating rink, there is a rink for ice-hockey. If you want to get a feel for the game then stand behind the Perspex wall at the end where a goal-keeper is practicing. When he misses and the puck thunders into the wall, it makes a frightening sound.
