Nyora - Wuchatsch Reserve
Wuchatsch Reserve, which is located 5km north-west of Nyora, is an important area of remnant native bushlands including plants and animals of regional significance. Wildlife sightings in the reserve are common amongst the lowland forest and heath areas.
Distance: There are three different walking tracks available. The main track is 1.8km and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Terrain: Gravel and grass surface.
Directions: Accessible from Cherry Tree Road, Seaview Court, Koala Court and Forrest Drive.

Access for Dogs:
Dogs are permitted on leash.
Review:
There five possible entry/exit points to the reserve but only a couple of them have a map (see above).
The best and most interesting route is to start at the car park on Forrest Drive and follow the Fern Gully Track. Do not take the Koala track or Seaview track side branches. At the western park of the reserve do a loop using the Cherry Tree track and connect back onto the Fern Gully Track where you re-trace your steps back to the start point.
Alternatively exit out onto Cherry Tree road and walk to the end of Koala Court and re-enter the reserve onto the Koala Track.
Some parts of Fern Gully Track are narrow and lined with high ferns. I'm not sure I would want to do the walk in summer with snakes being difficult to see near the track. Entry is also not advised on days of High Fire Danger. Autumn was very pleasant with lots of fungi.
