Norway Reserve Playground, Woodstock Street, Canterbury
Ubiquitous wooden structure with castle theme. This one is rather well done and there is even a shield decoration on the swing and a board with a picture of a king with a hole cut out for the head. Your kid can be king of the castle for the day. Includes three slides, four swings, two horse springers, large turntable, climbing rack, climbing wall with rock handholds, monkey bars and walkway. Table, water tap and plenty of period style seats in shade. You can sit in the one of these seats, inspect the huge houses in this area and imagine you could live here (if you didn't already have that pesky huge mortgage). Playground is surrounded by quite a few tall trees and slides stay wet for a long time in the morning.
