Review:
To the east of Sandridge beach there are three rock groynes extending into the water. By the time you reach the easternmost groyne the beach changes to New Beach. The beach was created after the apartment development occurred and named by some-one with little imagination at naming beaches. Next to the groyne is a V-shaped area of sandy beach and it then widens out as it reaches Princes Pier. Overall the beach is about 200m in length.
There is a boulevard and bike track beside the beach which is fringed by palm trees and some unshaded seats.
Free parking is limited in the area.
