Navigation Park Playground, Voyager Boulevard, Tarneit
The highlight of the playground is the water play area. A big metal elephant has come down to the waterhole to drink. You can rotate a lever at the back of the elephant and water comes out its trunk into a channel which combines with other channels from three other water pumps and passes through sluice gates. Beat out an African rhythm using the xylophone on the side of the elephant.
There are two towers connected by a small tunnel slide. There is a curved tunnel slide which can be reached by steps and on the outside there is a small curved slide, ladder, climbing wall, rope ladder and birds nest swing underneath. A long rope net bridge leads to a soft mound with a tunnel and dual slides. There is also a spinning disk to sit on, four swings, basic skate park and basketball court.
A shelter with two tables and BBQs, unshaded table, toilets, water tap and grassy area with football goal posts and volleyball net.
