Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre

The Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre is located in the Post Office Complex, Myrtleford along the Great Alpine Road in the heart of North East Victoria (Alpine Shire) between Wangaratta and Bright.

Myrtleford is just 273 kilometres north-east of Melbourne via the Hume Highway. The centre is licensed to sell wines from the North East and has an extensive selection.

Beautiful scenery, tranquillity, rivers and mountain views will enchant visitors to Myrtleford. Mount Buffalo creates a dramatic background for the town and the Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre has several free handouts on this majestic national park.

The town is a flourishing commercial centre and the hub for the hops, timber and viticulture industries.

The staff can help with you with all your enquiries and assist you with planning your holiday to Victoria's Alpine High Country, within the Alpine Shire and surrounding regions, specialising in maps and trail guides of the Alpine National Park.
