The Museum of Play and Art (MoPA) is founded on the belief that more play and creativity will paint a brighter future. Our exhibits and activities are crafted to provide rich opportunities for play-based learning and creative exploration.

MoPA has worked with experts from across the globe to assemble a collection of beautiful, creative, immersive and educational exhibits. The exhibits, and the amazing space itself (the building formerly know as "The Wintergarden") will inspire you and your child's inner-creativity and provides a huge range of opportunities for play-based learning. MoPA is designed for children aged 1-7 years.

The Museum of Play and Art cafe provides a range of healthy snacks to help keep your family well fed and the facility also provides gorgeous bathrooms, feeding rooms, change rooms, pram parking, low-sensory spaces, special needs days, and so much more, to ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible regardless of your child's age or unique requirements.

The Museum of Play and Art is filled to the brim with sensory, immersive, play-based learning experiences. The museum itself, and all the activities your children will encounter during their visit, have been carefully curated to support both Early Learning Outcomes and the Victorian Curriculum.
