Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place (Ringwood East)
Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place (MMIGP) is a community controlled Aboriginal organisation based in the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR) of Melbourne. MMIGP is committed to retaining, promoting, and strengthening Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural identity. The aims of MMIGP are to support enhanced outcomes for the Aboriginal community within EMR by providing a wide range of programs and activities that empower, educate and support our community.
MMIGP has been providing a safe space for Indigenous community to gather, participate in cultural activities and connect with each other since 2005. Programs
Elder's PAG
This program provides our Elders with planned group activities, excursions and abundant opportunities for social interaction.
Indigenous Women's Yarning Circle
Promotes healthy wellbeing and provides social activities for Indigenous women and their Families.
Men's Group
Provides activities and positive networking opportunities for local Indigenous Men.
Youth Group
School Holiday Program, Homework Club and other social events for Indigenous youth.
Ochre Program
Strong in action, firm in voice against all forms of violence. Safe surroundings and acts of kindness as our mob shouts no to family violence.
Yeng Gali Mullum
Yeng Gali Mullum is a singing and story-telling group that initially started off as a casual singing group but is now performing as a Choir group at various events.
