There is a large unfenced sports field on the western side and another field on the east side which was undergoing redevelopment when we visited.
On the northern side of the reserve is a playground and a grassy area dotted with trees plus an area of thick, tall grass. There is a thick ring of bush on the outer sides and there is a warning sign "snakes share this environment".
There are bins near the pavilion but no water tap.
