Manuela offers a range of classes for all ages and learning stages. Join us for a fun experience learning hand-building, sculpture, or even the potter's wheel.

Programs for Children

School Holiday Workshops
Students have 3 hours to work freely on their own projects. Loads of fun exploring texture, colour, and tools for creative expression. Every child has an opportunity to use the potter's wheel. Everything is provided, including clay, colours, glazes, firings, drinks and a snack. Samples and inspirational works on display. Firing takes place on-site for future collection.

Pottery Parties
Everything is provided, including clay, colours, glazes, firings, drinks, and popcorn. Extra party food and supplies may be brought along. During warmer weather, party food can be served on the studio veranda. Custom named invitations for printing can be provided. Firing takes place on-site for future collection.

After School Short Courses
5 consecutive weeks each term. These wonderful classes teach specialised techniques to a small group while still allowing time to work freely on their own projects. Learn hand-building, sculpture and the pottery wheel. Includes drink and a snack. Firing takes place on-site for future collection.

Programs for Adults

Term Classes
From total beginners to experienced, students receive expert guidance as they work freely on their own projects, and small group numbers ensure your tutor can offer plenty of one-on-one help. Join us for a cuppa while learning hand-building, sculpture, or throwing on one of our new Venco direct-drive wheels. The studio is heated and cozy in winter, and air-conditioned in summer. Earthenware, mid-fire, and occasional stoneware firings available. Students have access to a wide range of coloured glazes.

Casual Classes
For adults and children from 5 years. Group bookings for your party, hens, work breakup, family, or other occasion. From beginners to experienced, these classes offer a great opportunity to try a one-off taster session without the full-term commitment. Experience clay as being the new yoga through hand-building and the potter's wheel.
