Mount Sabine - Sabine Falls
Sabine Falls is the tallest waterfall complex in the Otways, consisting of three waterfalls, plunging down a 130 metre escarpment at the head of Smythe Creek.
The walk to the falls, which is about 3.6km, passes through lush rainforest with sections of steep terrain, creek crossings and an old mill site, about half way along the track.
You can see and hear the waterfall, but it is not possible to get close to the waterfall which is a few hundred metres across a thick valley. Bring binoculars to get the best experience.
There are picnic tables at the Sabine Falls picnic area.
