Mount Richmond - The Inkpot

The Inkpot is a natural depression formed either by the action of water dissolving the underlying limestone or by the collapse of a large cave, when full it is 10 metres and the colour black is caused by decaying vegetable matter.
The Inkpot is accessed off the Winnap Road, just past the Moleside picnic area, where you can visit the Moleside Waterfall on the way (adjacent to the picnic area).
