Mount Eliza Bowling Club
Located in the tranquil beachside village of Mt Eliza our club is only a stroll to the CBD and next door to tennis, netball and cricket facilities. the club has two artificial greens.
We pride ourselves as being the 'happy club' where competitive and social members alike want to be. We are proud of our links to the local community through the Community Challenge program, social bowls and the utilisation of our facilities for charitable and community events.

Barefoot Bowls
Welcome to the Mount Eliza Bowling Club, the home of the Pelicans where we hope you will enjoy your fun session of barefoot bowls.
Please enjoy our Clubhouse facilities, bar and excellent greens as you kick-off your shoes in a relaxed and social atmosphere to play a fun competitive game that is suitable for almost all ages.
Day: Friday evenings (Nov - Mar)
Time: 5.30pm - 7.30pm
Cost: $10.00 per head
(Children under 14 are generally free, however the club reserves the right to charge for juniors if the number of juniors exceeds the number of paying adults).
Bookings are essential, particularly for large groups and can be arranged by contacting Ken Broadbent on 0417 551 873.
BAREFOOT BOWLS parties are great for birthdays. staff gatherings, Christmas functions or simply get together with family and friends.
CATERING is available if desired, however by prior arrangement at time of booking.
FOOTWEAR - bare feet, socks, or any flat soled shoes (no heels, wedges or spikes allowed) is all that is required to participate.
The Club provides the BOWLS, mats and jacks together with basic TUITION by a dedicated Club member at the beginning of your session to make sure you get the most from your experience.
Our GREENS are in excellent condition and as you can appreciate came at a significant cost to the Club after years of fundraising and require diligent weekly and sometimes daily maintenance. In order for us to protect the playing surface for all to enjoy. we ask that you:
- refrain from dumping, dropping, driving or throwing the bowl into or onto the playing surface (green). and
- no eating, drinking or smoking on the green please.
CHILDREN are most welcome to play and get great enjoyment when participating particularly when they put down a good bowl.
Please supervise your children during the session and we ask that a minimum of one of your adults be present on each rink that a child is playing on.
Bowls are heavy and can damage feet and ankles and we value your safety and ours.
Normal rules apply for all children and we ask that there be no running around the Club, no eating or drinking on the green and all are to adhere to 'good behaviour' please.
Children under the age of 12 can use our smaller specialised indoor bowls when playing.
At the CONCLUSION of your session. please assist our Club member to pack away your bowls, mats and jacks and to ensure the green and surrounds are left in a tidy manner.
