Mount Buffalo - Rollasons Falls (Upper & Lower)
Rollasons Falls Track is 4 km (1.5 hours return). It is 1.9km to the Lower Falls and 2.0km to the Upper Falls from the Rollasons Falls Picnic Area.
Start at Rollasons Falls Picnic Area which is on the Mount Buffalo Road. From the Park entrance from Porepunkah pass the Eurobin Point and Nine Mile Point before you reach the picnic area.
Along the Rollasons Falls Track, turn left at the intersection for the Upper Falls lookout and right to the Lower Falls and rock pool. There is a short steep section at the end of this relatively easy walk.
Lower Rollasons Falls
Review:
The walk to the falls is mainly on a rocky and uneven path and the path is mostly uphill on the way back to the car park. The Lower falls were nicer to look at since you get great views from below the falls. The Upper Falls have obstructed views from side-on or below. The Lower Falls have a lovely pool we could cool down in with young kids. On the track we saw a snake but this is always a possibility during warmer weather. There were some picnic tables at the car park.
