Mount Beauty - Big Hill Mountain Bike Park
Widely regarded as one of Australia's premier mountain biking areas, the park is home to a number of challenging downhill and cross-country courses, as well as a network of more leisurely cross country trails within the forests, National Park and High Plains. Conveniently located in the middle of Mt Beauty, the trail head is just a few hundred metres from the main shopping centre, cafes and bakery.
The park has a trail network of approximately 40-50 kms of single track. Most of these trails lead into one another however the longest individual trail is "Survey Track" at 5 km. The climb takes roughly 45 minutes then rewards your effort with a fast and flowing descent.
