Mount Baw Baw - Howling Husky Sled Tours
Dogsledding at Mt. Baw Baw is unlike any dogsled experience you have ever had before! So whether this will be your first time to the snow or you return year after year Mt. Baw Baw has it all. We offer up to 6 different types of tours among the maze of back country trails to ensure we can give those of you who visit us on a continuing basis a new adventure each time!
Tours range from 30 minutes to four hours.
Powder Pup Snowshoe Tour - Come along and let our puppies take you for a walk into the wild side of sled dog training. Gear up with your own pair of snow shoes and walking harness and be prepared for the most fun you have ever had walking a dog. As you journey into the trees with only the sound of crunching snow beneath your feet let your experienced guide teach you the fun we have training our snow dogs. You will help the puppies to learn and practice their commands as well as build their strength they will need to one day be able to join our team of Howling Huskys. This tour is great for every age and ability and is the only one of its kind in Australia.
Location: Jake and his Huskys are located in the Village Bowl (just behind Skiosk cafe).
Opening Hours:
During the ski season. Bookings are highly recommended.
There are also sled tours at Dinner Plain and Mount Hotham.
