Morrisons - Hunts Bridge Camping Area
Hunts Bridge Camping Area is a free (no bookings required) campground which offers swimming opportunities in the Moorabool River. The site, which has plenty of space, is accessible to camper trailers, RVs and caravans. Camping in tents is allowed. There are some picnic tables, fire pits and wood barbeques throughout the camping area but no toilets or drinking water.
This site is located on the banks of the Moorabool River among beautiful rural surrounds and is a great place for a relaxed picnic lunch while exploring the surrounding areas and enjoying the sounds of the local birdlife.
This site is popular during summer, so please bring your own picnic table or blanket.
The river is quite shallow which makes it ideal for families and kids in summer.
The camping area is near the Elaine-Egerton Road where it crosses the Moorabool River West Branch. From Elaine, head north-east on the Elaine-Egerton Road for 9.7km to the Hunts Bridge site on your left hand side.
Access for Dogs:
Dogs are permitted on-leash.
