Mornington Peninsula Radio Control Car Club (Bittern)
Mornington Peninsula Radio Controlled Car Club (MPRCCC) was founded in the beginning of 2002 by a small group of hobby enthusiasts who were looking for a radio controlled car racing club that could accommodate their specific needs. What began with a member base of just five people in 2002, has grown to over forty five.
We have a purpose built RC track at Graham Myers Reserve in Bittern. We race on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday of each month.
The track is equipped with all the necessities for racing including the latest lap timing equipment. We also have a canteen that serves breakfast and lunch on race days. Generally a race meeting begins at approximately 8:30am and concludes at 5:00pm.
Our club members vary from teenagers, families, children, single parents, retired pensioners to people with disabilities. Our club is unique, and will always be based on family values 'Fast Family Fun!' enabling beginners and advanced skill levels to participate in a friendly environment.
We offer a fun and relaxed race day with snacks and drinks available throughout the day. Our computerised race scoring system monitors each drivers racing progress. Ribbons are offered for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing after each race meeting.
Note: The track is not open to the public and has video surveillance.
