Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club is a club dedicated to developing hockey on the Mornington Peninsula, providing a family friendly environment that value participation, enjoyment and excellence. Our club is committed to promoting skill, sportsmanship and good health to enable all members to reach their full potential.
New players are always welcome to the Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club. We are one of Victoria's fastest growing hockey clubs with many teams spanning from Junior's, Men's, Women's and Veterans competitions. Our club prides itself on a providing a friendly, safe, family-oriented environment to ensure everyone gets the most out of the sport.
Womens - The women's section is a strong, unified, successful and consistently growing part of MPHC. We cater for all ages, levels of experience and fitness ability with a wide range of hockey options available to all players. We actively support members across all of the Women's teams to enjoy their hockey and achieve their individual personal best. Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club offers a wide range of hockey options for players - whether you want strong, competitive hockey or whether you are looking for a more social game.
Our club is proud of our commitment to Women and Girl's hockey. We have a strong and growing number of Junior Girls teams in all age groups and we encourage our young female players to participate in the senior competitions from the age of 14. The opportunity to develop their hockey under the guidance of experienced senior women and coaches provides a nurturing transition into the senior grades.
Mens - There are a range of choices should you wish to play for the Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club men's teams. We always want new and returning players and we welcome all levels of fitness, ability and availability to play, support and volunteer. Focusing on promoting skills, sportsmanship and good health to enable all members to reach their full potential Mornington Peninsula Hockey Club caters for all ages and levels of experience inclusive of a strong junior and masters section.
We have grown to 4 teams: Men's Vic League 1, Men's Vic League Reserve, Men's Pennant E and Men's Metro B South
By also encouraging our young male players (15+) to play within the senior men's competition we provide pathways for them to develop their hockey under the guidance of respected and experienced senior men players and qualified coaches.
Peninsula Women - Peninsula Women's Hockey Accociation offers an opportunity to play no matter your age, experience or fitness level. The competition creates a great mix of people for growth, extending your skills and having fun with like-minded people. Any female over the age of 13 years, no matter your experience. Our existing teams combine those who have never played before to those who have played for year at all levels.
Masters - Masters hockey is for players of any gender and abilities aged 35 years and over. Masters hockey is competitive but is also a very social competition, as players usually stay back after a game to socialise and have a drink.
